Finally!

With finals over I finally have the chance to update. In September, Matt and I didn't do to much. I was just getting started with classes and Matt was starting his new job. However, we did go to the Septemberfest in Warsaw. There was not a whole lot there. It was pretty boring. Oh well! They had a tiny car show that consisted of about 5-7 cars. LOL. Out of the few cars at the show there was only about 2 or 3 that would be considered decent to put in a car. The others were pure junk.

No wonder we couldn't find a parking place. The were all taken by beautiful little cars like this one!

The month of October was a busy month! Matt's sister and niece moved back! Then shortly after that it was time for Halloween. Here we all are hanging out Halloween night.

We also got the chance to go up to the pumpkin walk in Nauvoo. It was great! I loved seeing the pumpkins all lite up.

On a few days the last couple months I have had the opportunity to babysit. One of those days I got the chance to go with Tristan to his riding lessons. It was really cool to see him up on that horse.
Another day a babysitting I got to see how strong Will is! He is super strong...watch out!
And of course majority of the time when I babysit I get to hang out with Asher. He is just so darn cute!
Sorry this picture needs to be rotated. But anywho, there were tons of birthdays throughout the last couple months. This birthday cake was for my beautiful mother.
Just a random picture of when robert came to watch General Conference with me. Obviously he is not watching much. LOL.
Last month I got to do some adventuring. One day Kayla (Matt's Sister), Cloey (his niece) and I went looking for geodes. No luck! But it was fun to climb down by the creek!

Matt decided to make some supper on the grill. However, he didn't realize just how long it had been since he had dumped the grease tray. The food was extra crispy.
Another birthday! Happy Birthday Cloey!
And I too had a birthday! It was so lovely. I got everything I asked for. My mom made beautiful little princess cakes. They were so darn cute! I didn't even want to eat them.
Another another adventure with Cloey. We went to a few places in Nauvoo.

Cloey also found a new friend at grandma's house. She just loves this cat! If she could only take it home!
These are a few random shots of different sunsets taken on the days Cloey and I went out for little adventures.

Update!

Ok sorry for the long pause of no blogs. Like I've said before I am not the best blogger. But for those who have been waiting for an update here it is. I've been going to Southeastern to get pre-req's to be a registered dietitian, which seems to be keeping me on my toes. Matt started work at a bank in Quincy. Other than that he has been leveling another character on our favorite game, World of Warcraft.

We normally don't get to do much especially since I am back in school. However we were able to attend Tristan's baptism and the Boyer Reception. Both of which were super fun!

That same weekend Matt and I got the chance to be in the Grape Festival Parade for Woot PC (Colista and Jeremy's computer business). It was alot of fun despite the long walk in the super hot weather, which about killed us all... lol.

Also last weekend Matt went golfing with Ryan and Angela. I wanted to go but had homework to do. The solution ride along while doing my homework. Yep ... that is just what I did. What fun..I know. Homework is my life it goes everywhere with me. lol.

Day Off

So today was my only day off from Zion's Mercantile. For those who don't know I started working there again when we moved back. Which is why I have not blogged in forever. But anywho point is my one and only day off (today) and I end up getting sick. I had so many plans for my day off. Since I can't really do much without feeling nauseated I decided to blog about the few things I have done lately.

For one, as I mentioned earlier, I have been working. I've also been getting my classes for this upcoming semester lined up. On my days off, which have only been a few, I've been reviewing and organizing my notes from last semester. I also managed to make it to the Sunday sociable with Joanne last Sunday, where the core cast from the pageant performed. It was alot of fun! Other than that nothing much really significant happening.

Tagged Again

So I got tagged by Colista and once again I'm just now getting to it. You link back to the person who tagged you, Post these rules on your blog, Share six unimportant things about yourself & Tag six random people at the end of your entry. Let the tagged people know by leaving a comment on their blogs.

This task seemed to be hard for me for some reason... I mean what do you consider unimportant.

1. I LOVE blizzards from Dairy Queen. MMM.... soo good.

2. Some things I enjoy watching during the day (if I am home that is) are soap opera's such as young and the restless, as the world turns and guiding light.

3. World of Warcraft is my favorite pc game ever. However, I have not had much time to play lately.

4. I'm paranoid that my teeth are going to fall out. I dream about them falling out all the time.

5. I dislike shopping for clothes.

I'm not sure if these individuals have been tagged already. Sorry I was only able to pick 4. But if it is that big of a deal... let me know and I'll make some individuals up... LOL! LOL!

Tagged

I got tagged a while back. Sorry I'm just now getting to it. Anywho, with that said here's the instructions:

1. Pick up the nearest book, turn to page 123
2. Find the 5th paragraph
3. Find the 5th sentence in that paragraph
4. Post the 5th sentence
5. Tag 5 people

The book that was nearest to me was my Book of Mormon. After turning to page 123 and finding the 5th paragraph I realized that there really wasn't a 5th sentence to use. So I'll just right the 5th paragraph.

"And now I, Jacob, spake many more things unto the people of Nephi, warnging them against fornication and lasciviousness, and every kind of sin, telling them the awful consequences of them."

Ok so I only was able to tag two... everyone else had already been tagged.

Catch Up

I've been super busy lately and has a result I haven't got the chance to blog. Here are some of the things that I have been up to. July 2nd was Landon's birthdate. My mom and dad took everyone out to eat at the Hotel Nauvoo. It was so good and grandma and grandpa gallaher got to come up too. Grandma had the waitress bring out a little cake for Landon. He made quite the mess. After eatting they gave Landon his gift... a little john deere rider.

On the fourth of July we celebrated Landon's 1st birthday. Kendall barbecued and my mom made a really cool train cake. Susan also gave Landon his very first haircut. And after his haircut he opened his presents.

After Landon's birthday celebration Matt and I went out to Carthage to have a picnic and see the fireworks. We ended up running into Susan's family and Colista's family. So we got to watch the fireworks with them.

In the mist of organizing and running around I only found one time to go lay out by the pool and show my new happy meal bracelet before we moved back. Ok so maybe I didn't wear the bracelet. However, we are moving back. Therefore, I only got to get into the pool once. Oh well it will be nice to be back home.
The last couple of months I've also been organizing and finishing a few projects. The first project was my recipe scrapbook. And for the second project I worked on scrapbooking some of my favorite articles from various church magazines and newsletters. Woot... my recipes and articles are organized at least for now until I find more that I like and need to add.
