Today it is beautiful out! I wish I could enjoy it. But it's going to be a busy day for me. Gotta finish that homework.

The semester is almost over!!! I've got just a few more weeks left. There is about eight lectures to watch, three case studies, two exams, a quiz and a final report. Oh and a message board assignment. The message board assignment and a case study is due this weekend. Hopefully all goes well since I work this weekend. ...Case studies can be time consuming.

Life is Good

I had a busy day as mentioned in my earlier post. This afternoon I finally drifted off to fairyland, when I was awakened by Prince Charming delivering me flowers! They smell so good... like spring!

Good Afternoon.

Whew.. so much as been accomplished today! I got Ty to his vet appointment bright and early. Knocked out several lectures... now if I could only get another lecture done. Anyways, in between everything I was able to run to Carthage and take one my quizzes. It took a whole fifteen minutes. I'm ready for a nap! But it is so nice out!

What's On My Mind?

It's BEAUTIFUL out! I wish it could stay like this all year long. It is gorgeous out there. Our grass is so green and the birds are singing the most beautiful tunes.

Days like today are not only great for hanging out and relaxing but they are great for running errands and doing housework. And that is exactly what I've been doing here today... homework, errands and housework with some fun relaxation time.

One of the things I did today was hang out with Makayla, while she waited for Fifi to get groomed. We ran to get some groceries at Wal-mart. As we casually walked around Wal-mart filling our basket one of the things Makayla ended up getting was this cute dress. Isn't it so cute?

Betsy the Car

Last night my car wouldn't start. Poor car. What will I do when she really can't go no more. Haha. I know it's just a car but that car has been good and she's paid off...why would I want to get a new one?

We got to see Theresa Caputo last night. While she didn't read us we still had a lot of fun. And since I didn't get the things done I needed to last night Matt has spent a lot of the day helping me. He is so GREAT!

Catching Fire and Baths...

Aww. I love to take baths. It is great. A chance to relax from the day... even if it I am multi-tasking. This is the time I get to go through and see what homework needs to be finished up, what people have posted on facebook and check my various email accounts. I know it doesn't seem very relaxing but for some reason it is!

Tomorrow I have so much to do. And although I did get a lot done yesterday I did not get all my school lectures and homework done, like I wanted. So that means I will be doing several lectures, flash card studying and labs on top of a group project and cleaning the house. That's okay I wouldn't have it any other way. It could be worse.

Last night I saw a trailer for catching fire and now I would like to reread the series! I loved that series. Although I was disappointed with the first movie I'm excited to see what this one has to offer. It comes out around my birthday.

Adore

I've got the best husband ever!!! He completes me. I adore everything about him. He is perfect!

Checklist

Many days the only way to get through the day is with a checklist. Today will be one of those days. I've got two food processing lectures to watch, one clinical nutrition lecture and one dietetic research lecture to watch. Plus I have to print the powerpoints that go with them. However, it takes more than a click of the button. In order for me to print them and save ink I have to take out the color and reformat the text in each slide. This can be a lengthy process when there is 70 slides in one powerpoint. On top of all the lectures I need to study for a quiz, I have a case study and another group project to do.

Then I've got cleaning and errands to do. Will it all get done?

Good News

I'm so excited! I just realized I don't have an exam like I thought I did for my clinical nutrition course. Well not at least this week. That means I can continue to catch up on some lectures rather than trying to crunch everything together to study.

Finished my exam. For what ever reason I thought I had watched all the lectures for this exam. ...But when I went to take the exam that was far from the case. And there was two essay questions. I didn't even get them finished. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it now.

Stray Rescue Fundraiser

I wrapped up my second fundraiser, neither was as good as I would have liked. However, the total from both fundraisers was $220. With the matching challenge that was going on until the end of March the contribution was matched so Stray Rescue would get $440, from both the  raised amount and doubled, for their Strack Funds. Thanks to all who purchased jewelry or gave donations.

Summer and Nie Nie Dialogues

Have I ever told you how much I love to read the Nie Nie Dialogues. I don't get to read them enough. But she truly is inspirational. She wrote a book a while back called Heaven is Here. I'd love to read it when I find time, which reminds me this summer I only have to take one class! I'm so excited! I should have all kinds of time. Last summer was busy with the change in job, planning the wedding and doing school. The previous years before that I lived at the condos, practically. This summer I will get my summer months back! I can hardly wait! Barbecues, beautiful early mornings, pretty sun dresses and evening walks it is going to be so much fun! Okay so back to the book. This summer is when I will probably find time to read her book. Below is a beautiful video discussing her book.

The Weekend

This past weekend was great! On Saturday, Matt and I went to Quincy to get a couple of items. While we were there we stopped to see grandma and grandpa Gallaher. Grandpa was doing his exercises when we arrived. He has been doing a good job with that. Then we showed them our full feature that PGP sent for us to approve. ...The video is beautiful and amazing! We then headed back. I spent most of the day relaxing and doing some  homework.

Yesterday, I got to watch a little bit of conference but I mostly was stuck on the couch with my laptop and school binder trying to do an mid-term essay exam. By the end of the night it was nine pages with the cover letter. Hopefully, it is good enough.

Then Matt and I enjoyed the rest of the night together. We got to take the dogs on a short walk. Everyone is so out of shape. The boys were dragging their tongues by the time we got back and it was only a short one.

I will be heading off to work in a bit. But wanted to share how great my weekend was! I am so lucky! And I have the greatest husband in the world. 

Our Kitchen

We painted the kitchen a couple months ago. I love it! Matt also put up some wall decor I had purchased in November.

No More Homework

...Is it time for bed yet? Too much homework to do and I'm exhausted!
