Fill It Up, Please

The pool is filling up! I'm sure it will be costly but you only live once. Matt worked really hard to get it up. Thankfully his brother, Lance stopped by to help him. I felt really bad he was doing it all alone... I would have but I had the baby.

Now I need to complete some of my projects. I would be happy if I could get two of my projects done. But I don't think that's going to happen. Maybe I can get some organizing done.

I did get a couple of pictures of Miss Juliana. She is so adorable. I just love her!

Good Morning

Only one more day to spend with my little family before my week is consumed with work. Juliana is resting now but I hope to have a fun filled day with crafts and family time. And hopefully the pool gets finished in the next several hours. I really want to take her for a swim this afternoon. More pictures coming soon. Have a GREAT day!

The Grand Life

Things are going GRAND! Matt is working on getting our pool up! I can't wait. In the mean time I tried cleaning some while Juliana was sleeping. She has been taking little naps, nothing real big. That means she will be antsy tonight. After she woke up we walked up to Dollar General with Brittany and Maci. Then I attempted to get some pictures of Maci. I didn't get as many as I would have liked to. So hopefully I can try again later.

Joanne took some lovely photos of Juliana and Sadie the other day. Here are a few of Juliana's pictures.

5 Months

Our little sweet pea is changing so fast. If I could slow down time I would. It seems I never get enough time with her between work and keeping up with life. I absolutely HATE it!

Today we got a few snap shots of Juliana for her baby book. Isn't she so cute? She is absolutely perfect! Juliana is constantly smiling and laughing. She loves to chat up a storm with us.

Sleepy Princess

Our little princess is five months old. She was napping when I got home so I didn't get a pic on her five month birthday. Tomorrow I'll be home so I am hoping to get one then. Until then here is a picture of our sleeping beauty resting.

Brooklyn Kay

Another addition to the Clark family. Matt's sister had a beautiful little girl last week. Today they came over to try and get some pictures taken. Although I have no idea what I am doing I got a couple pictures. I know some have shadows and I should have repositioned her. Oh well it's a learning process. Anyways, meet Brooklyn Kay.

Picture Time Again

I am definitely no pro but I try. Here is a picture of what I got. Juliana was super tired and I spent too much time trying to hang/straighten out my backdrop. I gave up so I could get at least one or two photos before she fell asleep.

Golf Outing

I hope Matt had a great Father's Day. To celebrate on Saturday we went out to Pizza Hut with Matt's family. We had a fun and enjoyable time. Juliana watched everyone's every move. She is so observant. Then on Sunday we woke up and got ready for some golf time with Matt. I just rode around in the cart. But it was fun. After being out for a good while I was starved. So we headed to Nauvoo early to see if the hotel could get us in. I had made reservations but they were not for another couple hours. They got us right in and I stuffed myself silly. Oh it was so GOOD!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the father's out there! But especially to Matt!... as well as the dads/grandpas in our lives. Matt is great to the boys (Ty and Teddy) and Juliana. He does so much around the house and is a wonderful hands on daddy. We would be lost without him.

Both his dad and my dad do a lot to help us when we need it. We are grateful they are our dads and grandfather to Juliana. Thanks for all the help you guys do without hesitation.

Also I am thankful for Grandpa Gallaher and Trapp. I learned so much from both of them.

Life and Family

One of my favorite aunts has always been Colista. She would watch us when we were little once in awhile and I always loked forward to it. I looked up to her. Who wouldn't? Colista is so creative and fun. She is somebody who is all around awesome. She was cool, easy to talk. I loved getting to do stuff with her and still do. The last couple of weeks Colista and I got to hang out while we tried to get pictures.. well she took the pics I just tried to help pose the girls and brought props I had gathered. Here are a few shots she got.

Nothing much has been going on. There are many projects I would like to accomplish but I am still looking for our money tree. I have a couple of the closets that need to have some shelves added to them, the bathroom is still waiting to be completely painted, there are other rooms that are naked and would love to be painted and then there is the laundry room that needs some cabinets. That is just some of the projects for inside. Oh well in time. For now I am going to continue to enjoy Juliana's presence. She makes us so happy. Her smile is beautiful and her laugh is the cutest little thing you will ever see.

A Break

I worked six days before I got a day off. I'm so glad that I had a day off to spend with Juliana today. Many things were accomplished today. ...Bathroom cleaned, some laundry done, worked on my monthly footprint project, checked out internship information, organized and dusted a little and played around with Sadie and Juliana taking pictures. I'm not very good at taking pictures and my camera is slow to respond. Thankfully, Joanne helped me out. I'll keep trying but so far it seems I'm good at getting ideas and props together not the actual picture taking.

Graduates

Several extended family members graduated highschool this year. One graduate was my cousin, Nick. When he was younger I used to watch him and his siblings. I can't believe he is done with highschool now. He is very musically talented. This past winter I was hoping to go to one of the musicals he was in. However, it was very challenging for me this winter and spring with getting ready to have a baby, having Juliana and finishing up school while working. I'm hopeful I will now get to enjoy more things. Congratulations on graduating, Nick! Good luck with your future endeavors.

Work Days

On days that I work we are lucky enough to have Joanne take Juliana. She has a lot of fun with Joanne and the kids.

Obessed

I counted Juliana's headbands and she has about forty of them not including the various clips. Call me obsessed? But I just think they are cute.

Blah

Today I am working on getting better. Since having Juliana I have been plagued with illness after illness. It seems I have had ever type of infection and illness a person can get. I am done with it. My body just needs to fully be healthy again. However I wouldn't trade Juliana for my health. I love my little princess. She means everything to me.

Crying Over Spilt Milk

I spilled my freshly pumped milk at work last week. I hate that!

Talents

I have a talented family both immediate and extended. Lately I've been wanting to showcase my talented sister-in-laws, Joanne and Whitney.

Joanne does amazingly cute and yummy cakes. I am always having her do cakes for us. If you are looking for a cake I highly recommend her. You can view the cakes she has made for people on her blog.

Our Beautiful Wedding Cake by Joanne

Whitney is great with the sewing machine. She too has a blog with some of the things she has created. Below are a few gifts she has made for Juliana and I. They are both so cute and are used all the time.

Good job girls!
