33 Weeks

Yesterday we hit week 33! But because I had to work and was too busy last night to get a picture we took some today.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Hopefully everyone had a great day and enjoyed some yummy Thanksgiving goodness. I know I did. ...Probably too much at that.

So what am I grateful for? I am grateful that I was able to enjoy the day with Matt. I'm grateful for all he does!!! He helps me with everything! I'd really be lost without him and he keeps me sane when every one else is driving me nuts. Secondly, I am grateful for my sweet little pups, who do everything to be the best little companions in the world. Although they may frustrate me at times they try so hard to listen and be good. They are precious! I'm also thankful for the healthy pregnancy I've had and the little one growing inside me. And although I have loved being pregnant I can't wait to meet him/her.

A couple other things I am grateful for are my family even though I think it is their goal to drive me out of my mind, my job and coworkers who make it fun. I am also grateful that I have one more semester until I have a bachelors in dietetics and can then move on with my education. I'll be one step closer to becoming a dietitian.

32 Weeks

We are now at 32 weeks, as of yesterday! Things are going well. Matt and I have been busy getting things in order. Our days off have been  full of errands. Yesterday, was one of those days because we both off for our little ones two checkup. It was a rather interesting morning in waiting room because there was this family who was in there. They had a son who was probably three and they were upset with their him. As he continued to cry the father got up and said I'll give you what you want, took him to the bathroom and you could hear him being spanked. The father came back out, sat down with a belt in hand and continued to bop his head as he listened to his loud rap music. I know that at times kids may need a spanking but my goodness the father's attitude was horrible. I'm thinking if the father is like that in front of people how is he at home. I hope not for that boy's sake. Anyways, the appointment went well and the little ones heart rate was 140.

After our appointment we had to get our flu shot so that we could get a discount on our insurance. Ugh... I hate the idea of someone telling me I have to do something. With that out of the way we then had to set up some more appointments and run to heritage medical so I could get some new scrubs. We ran several more errands and by the time we got home I was pooped. So both of us laid down and took a long nap. Oh how great it was!

32 weeks!

Rainbows and Christmas Trees

It's beginning to look like Christmas here at the Clarks! Stockings are hung, presents are gathering under the trees and scents of winter are in the air here. ... Until you step outside and realize that today it is rather warm for winter and that it is still fall. Don't get me wrong I LOVE fall. But I am really excited for the holidays this year. And Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday.

The weather today has been crazy...one minute it is warm and sunny the next rainy with dark clouds. But I can't complain because I LOVE thunderstorms too. So I guess I'm getting the best of the best right now. Decor of my favorite holiday up, thunderstorms and fall weather. An to add to the wonderful day a BEAUTIFUL rainbow.

Baby Shower

Last night one of the girls from work did a baby shower. She did a good job! There were cute little animal decorations, yummy food and several fun activities to do.

We got a lot of really nice gifts that will be very useful for when the little one comes. And I loved that Matt got to be there for it. I should have had him open some gifts too.

Keila also had everyone that was there sign this cute little onesie.

All the games were cute and fun. But the game, my water broke, was interesting to watch. Everyone was given an ice cube with a baby in it. The first to get their baby out of the ice cube won. It was really close between Matt and my dad.

Check out the cute sash that Keila put together as well. It was really awesome!

Here is a couple pictures of Matt and I. Excited for the little one to be here.
