A Good Day

Yesterday was good. I was able to accomplish so much. Although I was completely worn out by the end of the day. First I had to work but not before I started some laundry and what not. Then after my long day at work I got home did some more laundry, homework, took a quiz, ate some supper, put my new sheets on our bed (I just wondering what I will paint that room now) and exercised. And yet there is still a lot to do. But that's okay life is good!

Morning News

I'm 20 wks.

I meant to post last night. However, yesterday afternoon I got a super bad headache. My head felt like it could blow right off. Anyways, Prince Charming got me into bed and I just tried to sleep the night away. After I got up this morning he took a picture of me... I really hadn't even got ready for the day. But here is a quick picture at 20 weeks.

Then I attempted to get a short audio of the heartbeat and some kicks. I managed to get a couple. One with a little less movement and another with activity. The one with activity is not exactly what I wanted but it's the best I could do. I swear it sounds like a horse is galloping away at times. But you can here the baby move closer at one point.

Deals and more

What have I been up to? For one I've been spending a lot of time trolling the buy/sell and trades for good deals. I did miss out on one that I am pretty bummed about. But so far I've been able to do pretty good getting a stock pile of girls, boys and neutral items. This is a picture I took a couple of weeks ago and I've added more since. In fact, yesterday, I was able to get some good deals and even got a neutral bassinet for $30. There is a lot of other stuff we still need to get. But I'll keep watching to see if the items I want show up for a really good deal.

Other than that most of my life is consumed with work and school. I do manage to walk and do some exercising here and there. However, I wish I could do more exercising. Things are just always so busy and don't work out that way. Once school gets done then I will be able to have more of a life... although it has been better. ...Knock on wood. I am nervous about the upcoming there are a lot and I mean a lot of assignments due. So I'm trying to work ahead now. My first day of classes is tomorrow.

Matt has been working on my car trying to get the air fixed. Next year I won't be able to drive it with no air and a baby. We talked about getting me a new car but I really don't want another payment. I did get new license plates.

Our Little Boys

It feels so late!!! And nothing has really got accomplished today... only a little bit of homework done, some house work, a walk this afternoon and a meeting in Burlington. Oh well. That's the way it goes.

Anyways, I'm 19 weeks today. For some reason I was thinking I was 20. But I was one week off. My baby bump is showing more.
 

 

Cuties

Look at these cuties! My grandma has been nursing and caring for them. They are now ready for their furever homes! Hopefully, they will find GOOD homes. A home that will care for them and give them the love they deserve.

Dance Magic Dance

Have you seen the movie The Labyrinth with David Bowie? When I was younger I enjoyed watching that. Yesterday, while working this part of the movie was on my mind. I went about work not whistling like the Seven Dwarfs but singing this song ... of course I sang in my head not out loud. 

So this weekend was rather good even though I didn't get to be home. Work went well and everyone enjoyed their meal especially tonight. So that makes it a good day. But I am excited to have the day off tomorrow!!! I have several things I'd like to do - playing with the boys (in particularly Teddy), running errands, picking up the house and completing some homework. Oh yes and wrapping a few Christmas gifts that I have gotten/and or completed. If you don't know I LOVE Christmas! It should be a GREAT day tomorrow!

Last night Ty wedged himself, the best he could, between Matt's pillow and the wall in the middle of the night. It was really cute! He did move some when Matt got up to take the picture but you can get the idea.

Anniversary

Trip planned and room booked! We will be going to the Mall of America for our anniversary!!! I'm so excited! My parents took us there a couple times in my childhood years. However, now I'll get to go with Matt and that is exciting! I LOVE HANGING OUT WITH MATT!!! ... I know that I've said that before but Life is GOOD when I get to just have fun with him!

I'm off this weekend! So exciting! And my list of things to do for the weekend is very short. The best part is most of it is fun enjoyable activities! One of the things I'm looking forward to is date night. A couple of weeks ago for our date night we both made bucket lists. It was fun to see what we each came up with.

• Take Matt to North Carolina Tar Heels BB Game

• Walk the beach in Florida with Matt

Happy Day

Today was a GREAT day complete with volunteer work, organizing and napping with Ty. Oh and some homework. The weather was beautiful as well! I LOVE this time of year!!!

Cami Bradley

Although a couple of my favorite acts didn't go through tonight's round on America's Got Talent one of my favorites did. Cami Bradley made it through, just like I knew she would.



On another news I am five months today! You can see a picture in my last post. Today I managed to get more organizing done. Mostly cleaning up my computer files and organizing class work from last semester. However, I'm running out of things to organize ... upstairs. There are some things downstairs I could probably organize but it is scary down there by myself. LOL. I think it is because last time I was down there going through stuff there was a huge spider. I'm lucky I survived it. Haha.

I also started some class work even though class does not start until the 26th. I'm trying to get a jump on things so I don't stress out. Other than that life has been pretty relaxing.

After many attempts of trying to get the heartbeat to record with no static this is the best one we could get. It still has some static so you may have to adjust your audio. But here's the heartbeat at almost five months.

Dreamland

Last night, I got a GREAT night's sleep. The first in a long time! It was so nice especially since I've had this cold making it 10x harder to sleep.

All in all yesterday was a AWESOME day! The bed came, I got to scrapbook, organize some things and hang out with Matt! Now if I only had a million dollars so that Matt and I only had to work part-time that would be great! Or at least enough money, to put in our savings, for whenever we wanted to take a vacation.

Oh Comfort At Last!

Our appointment was today. The baby appears to be doing well and everything is on track. Shortly after getting home Ashley Furniture dropped off our new bed. Oh is it so nice. But we have no sheet... well we have a set that will fit but they are rough. ... We are use to soft cool sheets!

The good news is I was able to purchase the exact same sheets, but for a king, from JCPenney on sale! Woohoo! Then I found a coupon online that helped us save some more. Yay...for saving money! With that the bad news is the sheets won't be shipped until Sept 9 or something like that. Ugh. Hopefully, they will ship sooner.

We still have to get a new bed frame. But the one we would like is about $1,000 and then we have to get the night stands to go with it, which are over $300. So I guess that will sometime down the road.

The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead... that's what I've felt like the last several days. Somehow I've acquired a bug and it has drained me. Wednesday is our checkup and I'll  be a week shy of five months at that point.
