Festival Fun

A couple of weeekends ago we hit up a local festival, where there was a petting zoo, face painting, carnival rides, magic shows, local bands performing, dragon boat racing, water skiing shows and much more. There was so much to do that somehow we missed some of it. It was alot of fun.

We also so some cartoon characters (Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Minnie Mouse). Did you know that Minnie's full name is Minerva Mouse? Ok on with the story these characters were really sad looking. I mean look at them do they look like a pitfull crew. Winnie the Pooh's costume is about to walk away from him. Tigger's headpiece does not match the rest of the costume. Winnie's costume is the only one that is actually presentable, in my opinion. However, the only that had a good personality with the crowd was Winnie. Oh well.

Help... It's Stuck!

I heard this song the other day and it has been stuck in my head ever since. Not only is it stuck in my head but I had Matt listen to it and now it is stuck in his head too. So we just walk around the apartment singing this song.

Another Photoshop Project

Matt also created new backgrounds for our computers using Photoshop. I think they are pretty cool! He did a great job!

Having Fun With Photoshop

Matt was messing around in Photoshop last night and learned how to make a smoke effect. After making an example, he had an idea to apply it to his WoW UI. He made different colors for each class. Here they are:

While we were back Matt also got the chance to go golfing with Lance and his dad.

Will enjoyed playing with Matt while we were back. They rough played, had a pillow fight and scared each other... actually it was more like Matt scaring Will. LOL.

Painting Project!

When we went back to visit Matt's project was to paint our laptops. After taking over his dad's garage for a couple of days he finally got them finished. He did his first that way if I didn't like it I could change my mind about having him do mine. However, I knew I wouldn't change my mind because I know that everything he takes on means he can do it and he will do it with perfection. Therefore, I had no worries. Matt did his in red with some metallic in it. He did a marvelous job on his!

Now for mine! I took pictures of mine before he began painting. This is the plain jane laptop. No uniqueness whatsoever.

Matt preps the area again... so mine can be painted! Woot! Mine will be green with some metallic in it. At this point I just couldn't wait for it to be finished! I knew it was going to look so cool!
