Who's In Town?

Look who else we got to see today!!!! Robert and DeNene Jensen were in town. I worked with them at BYU Nauvoo.

I was so excited to get to see the Jensen's today! Juliana was hot, tired and the sun was a little bright for her. Plus she is teething and has not felt real well. But she did her best to take a couple pictures. Good thing I have a patient baby!

Later on after Dick's reception, a nap and with some cooler weather we were able to take a couple more pictures of her in her pretty little dress. She is such a cute princess!

A Celebration

What a busy day! Today we got to celebrate Matt's dad and Mary's wedding. They had a little reception at the Comfort Inn Suites in Ft. Madison. It was fun to get together with everyone.

What a cute couple! We love that Mary has joined the family and that Dick has found someone that fulfills his life.

Little Things

Monday was fun although I had about thirty minutes of frustration. Poor Juliana wanted me to pamper her. She seems to be teething. But i was trying really hard to get us ready to go swimming. It was difficult but when I finally gave in remembering things don't always go as planned the day turned around.

I like to plan things out and often have hard time just sitting there. I've always liked making to do list and crossing off completed tasks. So its very hard for me to sit still. Reminding myself that she will only be little once and to just cherish these moments helps me to sit still during those times as well.

Today's Goals

This mommy is wore out from working all week. I'm super excited to spend the day at home with Juliana, Ty and Teddy. After working five days it is nice to be able to relax. I plan to take Juliana swimming, work on some craft projects that need finished, do some house chores and organize... all of which will depend on Juliana.

Anyways, have I ever told you how much I love Grace and Lace. I've purchased several items from this company. All of them are so cute and I really enjoy wearing them. The best part is that a portion of the proceeds from each item purchased goes to building orphanages is India. Several weeks ago the company was able to open their first two orphanages taken in about 65 boys and 35 girls between the two. Amazing!

Video Troubles

Juliana loves playing peek-a-boo. Last night we were able to video her. But I can't figure out to cut in length so that it will upload on here. Well until then here is another picture of our cute princess.

Happy Days

I got to take Juliana for a dip in the pool yesterday. It was so exciting! But I didn't get any pics... maybe next time. The little bit we were in there wore her out. I cant wait to take her again.

Yesterday I was also able to organize the spare room, pick up some, do laundry and dishes, have Joanne and her family over, bake some cookies and relax with some hot cocoa. It was a pretty good day.

Today was another wonderful day. Although I had to work we were able to spend a couple of hours together before bed. Juliana loves to play and explore. The last couple of weeks she has been trying to crawl. She can get herself up but doesn't have the coordination figured out yet and often ends up going backwards. But I'm sure she will get it very soon.
