10 years

Ten years ago this month I met my best friend, my husband.

Mr. Clark is the best ... he sticks by my side and always helps me with everything I do without him I would be lost.

In a few short days we will have another event to celebrate in january as we will be welcoming our first child. I can't wait.

Less Than A Week

Less than a week until the house will be filled with wonderful noises of crying as well as many sleepless nights. ... well as long as the baby doesn't extend its stay in the womb.

We have pretty much everything ready. There are a few things we could do but its not a must and if I were to go now I would be content with everything. The other day the Moses basket came. It is really cute! I can't wait to put the little one in it!

A couple weeks ago Matt painted and put a couple shelves up in the baby room. They are perfect!

Yesterday I spent sometime cleaning again. Then I ran a few errands before I came back home to rest. When Matt got home we went to a presentation on fire safety/alarms and got a free dinner. My parents came as well. Afterwards we ran to Perkins for a yummy brownie. In all it was a great day.

Little One's Room

Sleep, Snow and...

I can't sleep! I'm in cleaning mode again but I know I am probably being too loud. Matt was up late last night picking up, doing laundry and dishes while I got some rest. We were all over the place today and now he is getting some rest. I should probably try to sleep but I'd really like to organize and do some detail cleaning....although I just recently detailed pretty much everything and I keep everything so organized as is that I can't find anything to organize except some computer files. Plus like I said Matt is sleeping now. What to do, what to do. Guess I'll post a few random pictures.

The roads were crazy this weekend. Here are a few pictures traveling to work on Sunday. 

I felt crazy for being out in this weather. The wind was blowing like crazy. But it blew even more that night.

It's Cold!

It's freeeezing here! I would have loved to stay home the last few days. But I was scheduled to work the weekend and then today was our baby appointment. The doctor measured me at 38 cm and the heart rate was 134. The little monkey has been all sorts of active. Our next appointment will be our due date and they will check to see if I am dilated. Now we are off to tackle several errands. Have a great day!

My Surprise

I have a GREAT husband! Matt has been worried about me driving my car with the baby. I knew I definitely would need a new car in the summer. But was trying to hold out until then.

While I was on my way home Friday night Matt mentioned that he should take me to work to on Saturday to make sure I got there safely with the snow and all. Since he had been talking about how I needed a new car I had a feeling that Betsy, my car, would be gone when I got home.

Then on Saturday morning he dropped me off and I was worried that he would be picking me up in a new car... I didn't really want a new bill to have to worry about. However, when he showed up in his car and told me I had a flat I didn't think anything of it because the night before I thought my tire felt funny the previous night. So I figured that must not be the case and Betsy would be there.

When we pulled into Hamilton Matt shows me a video of my car. In the video he says that the car is going bye bye and when we pulled in to the driveway there was a new car. And even though we have another payment to add into the finances I am grateful. It's really nice and I can't wait to drive it.
