Fast Track

Today is going by fast! And I still have a lot to accomplish... pick up the house a bit more, organize and do my recipe scrapbook and exercise on top of my homework assignments. But I'm confident I'll be able to get it done. Maybe I can even squeeze some time in to work on my last assignment for the semester. I have one more week left of classes and I can't wait. I'm counting down the days to when classes are over for this summer. Although it really has not been too bad I just don't want to be tied down right now because I'd like to be out enjoying the day or organizing more of our house.

As for baby news I've been feeling better the last couple days. While smells get to me and make me want to throw up its not the constant feeling that I'm on a roller coaster all day. In two more weeks we will have our next appointment. And later today I'll be ordering one of my wish list items, the AngelSounds fetal doppler. I'm so excited! So make sure to come back at a later time to hear the little ones heartbeat and maybe some kicks.

Moose Fun

Isn't this the cutest video?

Today

It has been a great day! It started bright and early. Actually I don't even know if I got to sleep last night. Did I? We have not been sleeping well lately. I think we need a new bed... and a king size at that. Anyways, since Matt had to get up early I went ahead and got up because like I said I wasn't doing much sleep anyways... just tossing and turning. Getting up early allowed me to accomplish a lot though. I was able to use the time to do some laundry, clean the kitchen and wipe the living room ceiling fan among other things. Then I ran to the chiropractor this morning and afterwards met with Brittany and Maci to go for a walk before exercising. Today I did Buns of Steel. I know it's  old but it is so good. I LOVE that workout! What workouts do  you like?

Shabby Apple is Here!

I got my beautiful Shabby Apple dress that I wanted several months ago. But I've had to have my mom do some alterations and I may have to wait until this pregnant bump is gone. We will see when she finishes it.

Things I'd Like

I've been doing lots of organizing and product searching for various things (household items, clothing, baby supplies, etc). So I decided to add a few things to my wish list. I'm sure there are things I've forgot to put on the list. Oh well here are a few things I'd like.

1. Angelsound 41426 Fetal Doppler
2. Tar Heels Apparel
3. Stray Rescue Shirt/Hoodie
4. Scrubs
5. Garden Heroes and Activity Book
6. Workout/Yoga Clothes
7. Paper Towel Holder
8. Moses Basket

News Time

As many of you know I love to let people know about the reasons for protecting your pets whether that is spaying/neutering, getting their annual check-ups and shots, etc.. So on the news the other day I saw a couple of stories that sparked my interest.

The first was about Puppy Mills in the Tri-States (Hannibal, Lewistown and Edina). These three Missouri kennels were on the Humane Society's top 100 "Horrible Hundred" for having several unsanitary facilities. I can't imagine what they subject those poor furbabies too. I wish people were not so greedy. You can view the story at this link.

KHQA provided the next story and it was about the Quincy Humane Society who was helping the ASPCA by taking four sweet dogs who had been removed from a multi-state, federal dog fighting raid. I can't imagine the torment these dogs have to go through at the hand of man. Fight and win or die. They bare not only physical scars but emotional scars. It is sad what our race can do to innocent creatures.

Okay that is my rant about dogs today. On another note I'm 14 weeks today or four months, as of yesterday, thus beginning my second trimester. And the morning sickness still here. Yesterday I woke up and shortly after had to run to the trash can.

Other than that life is good! I've just been busy with work, school, networking dogs and volunteering. And of course I still get time to relax. Ty loves when I can just relax and lay with him.
