Talents

I have a talented family both immediate and extended. Lately I've been wanting to showcase my talented sister-in-laws, Joanne and Whitney.

Joanne does amazingly cute and yummy cakes. I am always having her do cakes for us. If you are looking for a cake I highly recommend her. You can view the cakes she has made for people on her blog.

Our Beautiful Wedding Cake by Joanne

Whitney is great with the sewing machine. She too has a blog with some of the things she has created. Below are a few gifts she has made for Juliana and I. They are both so cute and are used all the time.

Good job girls!

Summertime

Its been a year since we announced we were expecting. Matt and I were both so excited. Although we were not finding out we both sensed, each in our own way, the baby would be a girl. It wasn't easy and still hasn't been. With are meticulous tendencies to be detailed it keeps us on our toes. But we are learning and we wouldn't want it any other way.

Her smile brightens are day everyday! She is super smart, observant and loves to watch everything going on around her paying as close attention as she can to things. Juliana seems to have a shy personality but is really good about being passed to others with no problem. She is so patient with us hardly ever cries. When she does something is definitely wrong because it is VERY rare. Loud things startle her and she likes quite voices. Juliana also loves to chat with us and has the cutest laugh. We just absolutely LOVE her. Who couldn't?

Memorial Day Cookout

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend and remembered those who have went to war for our country. We enjoyed Memorial Day by having a cookout. It was fun and the food was yummy! Too bad I didn't get more pictures.

Prop Playing

Last Thursday Juliana and I got the chance to go visit with Colista and her new little one, Vivianne. We were going to try and get pictures of Vivianne and Juliana. I had several ideas swirling through my head. If only we had more time. But that is okay I had more photo props coming so we will definitely have to get back together before she gets to big.

Eden and Cullen were there as well. They were so fun. Cullen kept playing with Juliana. He even got to hold her. Too bad I didn't get a picture. It was so cute. Eden actually talked to me once in a while. Usually she runs the other way. I was even able to snap a picture of her after she had been playing and playing. She is so cute even if she was a little dirty from all the playing.

Grandma Trapp stopped by to drop Asher off from school while we were still taking pictures. So she helped out by holding Juliana. It worked out great. You should see all the cute pictures of Vivianne.

Before we left I laid Juliana on the floor to play but I guess she rather watch Little Einsteins.

Shots and Checkups

On Tuesday Juliana was four months old. Time has sure flown by. Isn't she so cute!

Today she had her four month checkup and she also got her shots. Juliana is growing like a weed. She is 24 1/2 inches long and weighs 12lbs 10 oz.

After we went to her checkup we stopped by Absolute Wellness to see if she could get adjusted. A couple of months ago we had went for latching problems. This time was just to help ensure everything is properly developing. She loved it... smiled and laughed the whole time.

Surprised

What a great day, yesterday! First of all no classwork ...yay for me!  Juliana and I got up early. Matt had already been up cleaning, which is not abnormal. He usual gets up and helps me get things picked up before going to work.

After several hours of picking up and organizing we ran to get some lunch.

Check it out... I was able to organize some milk. We have a little space for our food now. Yippee.

When we got back we tried to take a little nap but that didn't seem to be happening. So we decided to get up. Next thing I knew Robert walked in. It was great! Then Dick and Mary came in. A few minutes later my mom and dad. I was likely my goodness. Shortly after my mom and dad came in I realized that something was going in. Matt had planned a surprise graduation gathering. How fun! He is the greatest! I had no clue what was going on. Joanne did this lovely cake! It's beautiful!

Today, we headed to a graduation celebration in Ewing MO. Boy was it an adventure. But once we got there we had a good time.

Completed

Yes... I have completed all my course work and finals! Now on to figuring out the whole clinical/intern work. I'm so glad! I plan to study a little each day for the RD exam to keep my mind fresh. But I am super excited to not have any deadlines for school work. Now maybe I can breathe.
