Thirty
Matt turned 30 on Monday. Yesterday, we celebrated his birthday. It was a lot of fun this weekend. Friday we stayed up late watching the Ultra Music Festival. Then we got up early Saturday to get some errands done and pick up a little bit. Since it was a simple get together there was not a whole lot to be done.
Around noon Robert and Makayla arrived we played Clue while we waited for the others. Dick brought maidrites that were all so yummy. And my mom made some cute and tasty cupcakes.
Later in the evening Robert, Makayla, Joanne and the boys were still here. We played the wii and looked at some videos on the internet. At about ten we watched the rest of the Ultra Music Festival.
Today was another fun filled day. Robert and Makayla stayed the night then we had fun lounging and hanging out all day. Maci also came over and spent the afternoon with us. She is always so cute!
Although not much homework got done this weekend it was a fun weekend.

Busy Bee
Much has been accomplished today! Yay! Now if I can only finish the rest of my list. ...I'm so tired. Last night Matt fixed my tail lights on my car, then we washed the cushions on our couch and added more stuffing. They feel a lot better. While I waited on them to wash I cleaned our shower and tub.
This morning I continued to cross things off my list. First, we took the boys to get groomed before Matt had to work. Then I hurried back to get more cleaning done. I managed to get majority of the laundry done, our and Teddy's bedding washed, Teddy's toys washed and his crate washed. On top of that I got the screen door windows washed and mirrors washed, guest bathtub washed out (our shower and tub was done last night) and I got a lot of the kitchen picked up. Oh and I vacuumed.
I also was able to run to Walmart, Hy-Vee and Nauvoo.
But now I still have several lectures to watch and a quiz to do. I don't want to do any of it.

We Got Tickets!
Last week I heard Theresa Caputo was going to be in Peoria on April 20th. Sweet! I've always wanted to see her live. So I talked about for a couple days. Then Matt secured us some tickets. I'm so excited! To see what the fuss is all about check out this link.

Pet Meals On Wheels
Since I have started participating with Meals On Wheels, I've often thought it would be nice to incorporate a program to help the elderly take care of their pets. I guess the thought as crossed my mind before this but more so since my volunteering.
Anyways, so a couple weeks ago I ran across an article about this very thing. In Peoria, Meals On Wheels has added a program that helps provide pet food for the elderly to give their furbaby...even birds. Well I'm hoping to get something like that for those in this area in the upcoming months. The lady that is over the Hamilton area seemed very excited and so hopefully tomorrow I can talk more to her about it.

Snow Day
Today it is snowing out and I should have stayed home in my nice warm bed. But of course I decided to try and go to work. It is crazy out and I am sure it is only gonna get worse. So I decided to not go to work but now I need to get back home. I guess at least I'm safely in Nauvoo and not on the side of the road.
Here is a picture of the lid I was not able to post last time.
